From November 15th to December 28th, 2025, the city of Arezzo transforms into the City of Christmas with lights, scents, and joy.
At the heart of it all is the Tyrolean Village, set up in the charming Piazza Grande: a true Christmas village with dozens of wooden huts hosting vendors from Tirol, Germany, and Austria. Here you’ll find traditional crafts, festive decorations, handmade treasures, as well as Alpine culinary specialties, from pretzels to strudel, and from cheeses to local beers.
But it’s not just about shopping: the experience is completed by events, lights, and festive moments. In the upper part of the city, a Ferris wheel, an ice-skating rink, light installations, and videomapping shows transform Arezzo into a winter “wonderland,” enchanting all visitors.
For the little ones, the magic is even more enchanting: in the historic Medici Fortress comes to life Santa’s House, a magical journey through lights, creative workshops, games, and the much- anticipated meeting with Santa Claus. Train
The nearest railway station is in Montalto, 11 km from our hotel (about a 14-minute drive).

When purchasing your ticket, select Laterina as your departure station. As for the arrival, there are three train stations in Arezzo, but we recommend choosing the main one:Arezzo (simply “Arezzo”). The train will drop you at the foot of the city, just steps away from the historic center.
Regional trains start from €3.90 and reach Arezzo in approximately 16 minutes.
